With kids spending the bulk of their day sitting i With kids spending the bulk of their day sitting in school (or at the kitchen table), it's no wonder they fall way below #physical activity recommendations. Moving lessons outside is a great way to up their #fitness & #wellbeing. Outdoor education programs are even better.
For kids to get optimal #fitness at school, make s For kids to get optimal #fitness at school, make sure their physical education classes are inclusive. Mainstream PE is male biased, inaccessible to kids with #physical challenges, and caters to the dominant cultural group. If your kid doesn't love PE, look into inclusivity.
If there's a kid in your life who plays sports (or If there's a kid in your life who plays sports (or might like to), why don't you coach his/her team? If they're beginners, you only need to know the basics.  Then you can regularly impart wisdom about value of physical #fitness and #wellbeing & teach them to be good sports, too.
